Article
A substantive piece on procurement, AI adoption, strategy, or the profession. Typically 800–2,000 words. Grounded in real experience, not generic commentary.
Visual Post
A single image, infographic, or framework that communicates a procurement idea clearly and memorably. Include a short written description with your submission.
5-Minute Statement
A short, direct point of view — 150 to 300 words. No padding, no preamble. A clear position on something that matters in procurement or AI adoption today.
Practical Guide
A how-to or implementation guide that helps procurement professionals take a specific action. Step-based, tool-specific, and tested in practice preferred.
Submission Guidelines
Procurement-grounded content only
All submissions must be directly relevant to procurement practice, AI adoption in procurement, supply chain, or the evolving role of the procurement professional. Generic business content or vendor promotional material will not be considered.
Original work
Content must be your own original writing or creation. It should not have been published elsewhere in substantially the same form. AI-assisted drafting is acceptable provided the ideas, experience, and judgment are genuinely yours.
No vendor promotion
Perspectives is not an advertising platform. You may reference specific tools or vendors where directly relevant to the point you are making, but submissions written primarily to promote a product or service will not be published.
Practical over theoretical
The ProcureGuy™ audience values content grounded in real procurement experience. Where possible, anchor your perspective in something you have seen, tried, or learned directly — not just observed from a distance.
Include a short bio
Send a two to three sentence professional bio with your submission. Name, current role or background, and one line on your procurement experience is sufficient.
